This class will introduce you to the essential techniques needed to create your own beautiful, practical bags.

During the workshop, you'll make a gift bag, complete with an optional decorative frill to resemble tissue paper, or a practical tote bag that's perfect for everyday use.

With expert guidance throughout the day, you'll learn the fundamentals of bag construction and leave with a completed handmade bag to take home!

What you'll need to bring

Please bring your own sewing machine to the workshop.

You're welcome to bring your own fabric or choose from our limited range of Liberty fabrics, available to purchase on the day at an additional cost.

The same applies to any other materials required for the workshop. You can either bring your own or purchase them from us on the day.

A full materials list, including fabric quantities and everything you'll need for the workshop, will be provided at least a week before the class.

Our showroom is just minutes from the A1 at Melmerby. We have free on-site parking and full disabled access. There is also a brilliant cafe on site.
